Pastor Bill Livingston

Pastor Bill fell in love with the things of God early in early childhood, deciding to devote his life’s work to serving the Lord by serving His Church. After serving in several different ministries, in Christian day-school education and as an elder in a local church, Bill was ordained to full-time

ministry in April 1984, in Louisville, Kentucky where he served as an associate pastor for five years and the senior pastor until December 2003. Answering a call from Christ Church North Bay, he released the church in Louisville to other leadership and moved to Northern California in January of 2004 serving as the senior pastor. God’s primary call on Bill’s life is to mobilize His people to engage the Great Commission wherever He has planted them…and from there to the nations. It is Bill’s passion to mobilize the local church for mission and those in mission for the local church.

He formerly served on the executive leadership team of a mission organization whose primary focus is the underground Church in China. He continues to be involved in ministry into China and on its behalf. That has led to ministry in many places overseas including China, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, England, Scotland, Germany, Russia, Belarus and Switzerland as well as in a number of places throughout the United States of America. He is currently involved in the development of a strategy for engaging the nations through the work of an organization based in Northern California called Strategic Christian Services (www.gostrategic.org). In addition, he serves on the apostolic council of a church network called Kingdom Ministries International as well as giving oversight to several churches in North America. He has also been active over the years in Christian social ministry within the United States of America.

In his mid-fifties, Bill has been married to his wife Barbara for 30 years. They have five children and five grandchildren. The three youngest children are adopted and from diverse ethnic backgrounds. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
